Yes – a resume matters. The stuff you’ve done creates opportunities for what you can do next. Fans respect it. It looks good in the program brochure of an event. You’re proud of yourself. Maybe your achievements can get your meals comped.
But people don’t really care about what you’ve done.
You read it right.
What you’ve done for you is nothing compared to what you can do for others. Since we are always most interested in what things means for us, your achievements – which are in the past and can’t help anyone but you at this point – don’t really matter.
What can you do for others?
